Maribel & Luis Tie the Knot!

With the beautiful summer that we had, it may be hard to recall the week of rain in early August.  It poured the day before Maribel and Luis’ wedding AND into the morning.  We nearly tossed the idea, at one point, to not even go to McHugh Creek for their ceremony.  In the end….. it was the bride’s call, and she said, “rain or shine…let’s do it!”
It rained almost the ENTIRE way there!
Once we arrived at that park, I was overtaken by the realization, that the rain had stopped, the mountains were in full view lining the background, even the air was fresh from the recent rain.  I was happy for Maribel and Luis because they were willing to take the risk and  it paid off…. No rain.
